PUKEKOHE METRO CRICKET CLUB

Pukekohe Metro Cricket Club (PMCC) was formed in 1987, as an amalgamation of the Pukekohe Cricket Club and the Metro Cricket Club, both of which were based in Pukekohe. In recent years, the club has also been bolstered by the inclusion of members from the Pukekohe Indian Cricket Club, which had been playing informally arranged cricket matches and now features strongly within the club, with players throughout all teams, grades and formats.

The club is based in the Bledisloe Park Society building, John Street, Pukekohe, which is a shared facility with the Pukekohe Association Football Club. The building was officially opened on the 17th of September 2016 and overlooks the three cricket pitches on Bledisloe Park (one grass block, one artificial block and one combined block).

Now the largest club in the Counties Manukau Cricket Association, PMCC has more than 200 playing members spread throughout junior and senior teams from age 4/5 onwards, fielding more than twenty teams each weekend across a range of junior and senior formats.
